Day One

We arrived safely to glorious sunshine!! Bed making was interesting but everyone eventually managed it with no staff support, even though some of them don't look like actual beds!

We meet the team of instructors who will be looking after us, played mad games loudly then Straight into our first activities: aero ball and climbing.

Aero ball! After the laughter of watching Mrs Bradshaw and Mrs Bell trying to get into the trampoline, all you could hear was laughter as the games began.

Climbing! Some children thought no! But with encouragement everyone went up the wall, many conquering their fears and many reaching the top!

A delicious roast dinner and apple crumble for tea before scrap heap challenge tonight!

Day Two

Early morning, as most of the children wanted to shower!! And no they weren't forced to. Breakfast, oh yes!!

9.15 came and we were all ready to start our morning activities.
Nightline, the children had to communicate as they had all lost their sight! Everything would have been okay if it wasn't for the pesky squirrels, who kept tickling the children!

Quad biking, nervous children zoomed around the track, conquering their fears (sorry parents many of them now want them for Christmas).

More food, tuck shop before more activities!

Low ropes, after Mrs Bell threw water over herself and Mrs Bradshaw threw it over a child everything was great. The children worked really hard supporting and communicating with each other.

Archery, Mrs Speak AKA Maid Marion, earned herself and Miss Mees a full set of cutlery. Children had to concentrate to be able to eat their evening meal, shooting on target to gain a knife, fork and spoon.

Power climb, wow we thought we were Spider-Men! (The staff anyway) but how wrong we were! A challenging activity where the children encouraged each other to climb higher than they did before!

More food! This time limited cutlery for some, but they all managed to each a full meal.

Chilling now in their dorms, before the mini Olympics start in 15 minutes.

Day Three

Well day 3 has been eventful and full of laughter!

It started with a cracking breakfast to set us up for the day! Hash browns and sausages! Yum Yum!

It has been a fun packed, glorious day, with zip wire, orienteering, problem solving, team challenge, fencing and caving. The children have shown how supportive and encouraging they can be when their class mates are stood at the top of a 40ft zip wire about to take the leap! They all made it to the top and many took the step.

The children have been fantastic conquering fears and challenging themselves.

The new arrival of other schools has given them the opportunity to make new friends. Just chilling before tonight's campfire with roasted marshmallows and hot chocolate!
